Patna: Former Bihar Minister and senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, has been re-elected unopposed as president of party's Bihar unit. Siddiqui's was the lone nomination filed for the post till filing of nomination ended till January 13, 2010 afternoon.
RJD Deputy leader in the Bihar Assembly Shakeel Ahmed Khan and Bihar Legislative Council member Gulam Gaus proposed his nomination which was seconded by several MLAs of the party, However, the name of the new president for the RJD's state unit would be announced on January 16.
